Trump to Let Musk Put Little Green Sticky Stars on White House Bedroom Ceiling

Washington, D.C. — In a move that has dumbfounded both political analysts and interior decorators, President Donald Trump has announced that tech mogul Elon Musk will be granted permission to adorn the ceiling of the White House primary bedroom with little green sticky stars.

"Elon’s a visionary," President Trump declared during a press briefing. "He came to me with this tremendous idea—absolutely tremendous—to put these glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling. He says it’ll be like sleeping under the stars, but without the bugs. I think it’s going to be fantastic, the best bedroom ceiling in history."

Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, elaborated on the initiative, stating, "This is not just about aesthetics; it's about inspiration. By bringing the cosmos into the White House, we hope to ignite a sense of wonder and curiosity about space exploration in all Americans. Plus, who doesn't love a good glow-in-the-dark star?"

Critics, however, have been quick to question the decision. "With all the pressing issues facing the nation, it's baffling that the President's focus is on bedroom decor," said political analyst Renee Manston. "This feels like a distraction at best."

As for the First Lady's opinion on the matter, sources say she was last seen browsing constellations in a catalog, perhaps signaling her approval of the celestial addition to their private quarters. Though those closest to the president have confirmed she will likely never sleep in that room.

The installation is set to take place next week, with Musk personally overseeing the placement of each star. When asked what this project signals about the agenda of the Department of Government Efficiency, the new, Musk-led government agency, Musk cryptically replied, "The sky's not the limit."
